Michelle Casey is from Sumter, South Carolina. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC and her Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. She has experience treating children and adults with a variety of speech and language disorders, including: Dysphagia, Articulation Disorders, and Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders. Michelle has a special interest in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders. She became interested in pursuing speech therapy after helping her mom with English pronunciation/accent modification. In her free time, Michelle enjoys playing computer games, backpacking, and listening to music.

Kristen CiocciMS, CCC-SLPLead Speech Therapist - Mount Pleasant Clinic
Kristen is from Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Bridgewater State University, and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Worcester State University. Kristen has experience working with children of all ages, abilities, and communication disorders in the public school and pediatric private practice settings. She enjoys working on articulation and phonology, expressive and receptive language, and social language. Kristen is new to Charleston and is enjoying exploring the area. She loves going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

Elizabeth DunlapMS, CCC-SLPNatural Environment / North Charleston Clinic / Mount Pleasant Clinic
Elizabeth "Liz" Dunlap is from Gainesville, Georgia. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA and a Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. She has over 12 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Before moving to Charleston in 2010, she worked as a Speech Pathologist in New York City. She has experience treating children with a variety of speech and language disorders including: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Apraxia, Articulation Disorders, Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders, Stuttering, and Learning Disabilities. Liz also has a personal interest in speech therapy because she received treatment for stuttering as a child and young adult. She has a family history of stuttering including her father, uncle, and grandfather. Liz's experience dealing with her own stuttering gives her a unique understanding of the challenges that people with communication disorders experience. She now views her fluency disorder as a gift because it led her to pursue a career in speech pathology.

Tess HalversonMS, CCC-SLPLead Speech Therapist - North Charleston Clinic / Natural Environment
Tess is from Morgantown, West Virginia. She earned her Bachelor as well as Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from West Virginia University. While studying at WVU, Tess gained experience evaluating and treating patients in pediatric outpatient, school, and pediatric acute care settings. Tess is a speech therapist for CCTC and currently works in both the clinic and naturalistic environment setting treating a wide variety of diagnoses. Tess has a special interest in the treatment of feeding disorders. Tess moved to Charleston a year ago and still loves to explore the city in her spare time. She also likes to spend time at the beach, travel, and try new foods.

Allyson is from Cary, North Carolina. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master of Speech Language Pathology at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Allyson has experience evaluating and treating children of all ages in the both the public school and pediatric private practice settings. She enjoys working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Apraxia, as well as receptive and expressive language delays. Allyson has lived in Charleston for five years. She loves spending time with her busy toddler, husband, and dog!
