Kaleigh Baughn

Kaleigh is from Garner, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and her Master’s from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and she recently moved to Charleston. Kaleigh is bilingual (Spanish-English) and has experience in pediatric outpatient, school, and home settings. She has a special interest in bilingual language development and AAC. Kaleigh loves to spend time outside, with her cat, and practicing jiu jitsu.

Lindsey DeFeudis

Lindsey recently moved to the Charleston area from Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Mass General Institute of Health Professions. Lindsey has experience in early head start and elementary school settings and has a special interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Outside of CCTC, Lindsey enjoys traveling, reading, and relaxing on the beach.

Rashida Hill

Rashida is a native of Charleston SC, and earned both her Bachelors and Master's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from South Carolina State University.  She has been working as a Speech Pathologist for 17 years in a variety of settings working with both pediatric and adult clients. When not treating clients, Rashida enjoys traveling,  and spending time with her kids, family and friends.

Emilia Scanga

Emilia is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Bloomsburg University. Emilia has experience in pediatric outpatient and school settings. She has a special interest in speech sound disorders and language disorders. She has recently moved to Summerville SC this past summer. Emilia loves to spend time at the beach with a good book, and travelling to new places.

Jenn Schmidt

Jenn is originally from Summerville, South Carolina but lived in Myrtle Beach, SC for the last three years.  She earned her bachelor's degree in public health with a minor in communication sciences and disorders from the University of South Carolina.  She also received her master of speech pathology from USC.  Jenn has experience working in the elementary school setting and with all ages in the pediatric outpatient setting. She has a special interest in providing early language therapy and treating children with childhood apraxia.  Jenn loves to read, spend time with family and friends, and go to the beach.

Kelli Shapiro

Lead Speech Therapist - Ladson Clinic

Kelli is from Ocean, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Stroudsburg University and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Mercy College. Kelli has experience working with children of all ages in pediatric outpatient, early intervention, and school settings. She has special interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Childhood Apraxia. Kelli recently moved to Charleston and loves to spend time at the beach, traveling, and playing with her dogs in her spare time.
