Tess HalversonMS, CCC-SLPLead Speech Therapist - Ladson Clinic
Tess is from Morgantown, West Virginia. She earned her Bachelor as well as Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from West Virginia University. While studying at WVU, Tess gained experience evaluating and treating patients in pediatric outpatient, school, and pediatric acute care settings. Tess is a speech therapist for CCTC and currently works in the clinic setting treating a wide variety of diagnoses. Tess has a special interest in the treatment of feeding disorders. In addition to her interest in feeding disorders, Tess is a Certified Lactation Counselor and enjoys working with newborns and their mothers. Tess moved to Charleston in 2017 and still loves to explore the city in her spare time. She also likes to spend time at the beach, travel, and try new foods.

Lexy HiteMS, CCC-SLPLadson Clinic
Lexy is from Canton, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Cleveland State University. Lexy then earned her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology at Ohio University. Since moving to Charleston in 2018, Lexy has worked with children of all ages in a pediatric outpatient clinic, school settings, and natural environments. She is trained in PROMPT therapy to better assist children who struggle to accurately produce sounds. Lexy is also trained in SOS Approach to Feeding to help picky eaters. She has a special interest in early intervention and augmentative and alternative communication. When she is not at CCTC, Lexy enjoys drawing, spending time with friends, and working out!

Sean LeffertsMS, CCC-SLPLadson Clinic/Mt. Pleasant Clinic
Sean grew up in North Salem, New York. He earned his Bachelor in Health Study from The State University of New York at Brockport. He went back to school to gain his post-baccalaureate for communication disorders from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He completed his Masters in Speech Language Pathology at South Carolina State University. While studying at SCSU - he gained experience in treating and evaluating in pediatrics at outpatient and school settings. He moved down to South Carolina in 2016. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3-kids. He also enjoys cooking and playing soccer in pick-up leagues.

Brancie MeadowsMS, CCC-SLPLadson Clinic
Brancie is from Huntington, West Virginia. She earned her Bachelor as well as Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Marshall University. Brancie gained experience in evaluating and treating patients in pediatric outpatient, schools, and pediatric acute care settings during her studies. She has special interest in treating feeding disorders. Brancie has lived in the Charleston area since 2019. She loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and relaxing on the beach.

Sarah is from Freehold, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Sarah has experience treating patients in pediatric outpatient, school, and early intervention system. She has special interest in childhood apraxia of speech and and augmentative and alternative communication. Sarah recently moved to Charleston and is enjoying getting to know the area. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, riding bikes, and hanging out with friends, family, and her dog.

Kelli is from Ocean, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Stroudsburg University and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Mercy College. Kelli has experience working with children of all ages in pediatric outpatient, early intervention, and school settings. She has special interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Childhood Apraxia. Kelli recently moved to Charleston and loves to spend time at the beach, traveling, and playing with her dog in her spare time.

Taylor is from Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Valdosta State University. Taylor has experience in working with children in pediatric outpatient, in the school setting and early intervention. Taylor has a special interest in working with early intervention and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Taylor recently moved to Charleston and loves traveling, going to the beach, and playing with her friend’s dog in her spare time.
