What continuing education options are available?
Depending on caseload, therapists are eligible for a subscription to ASHA Learning Pass (SLPs), and Summit (OTs/COTAs/PTs). There is also continuing education reimbursement available for therapists.
How many PTO days do I get if I become a full-time employee?
PTO starts at 10 days. In addition to those PTO days, 56 holiday hours are given.
CCTC is closed for the 7 major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
How are full-time therapists compensated?
Full time therapists are compensated through a base salary and our therapist incentive program.
What is a typical schedule?
Our full-time therapists usually work four ten-hour days or five eight-hour days. Our contract therapists have flex schedules and can choose the hours and days they work.
Patient caseload in the clinic is managed by one of our awesome scheduling coordinators. Schedules are always evolving, but in general our patients are scheduled between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm.
What type of equipment do you provide?
We provide laptops, hotspots (if the therapist sees children in the natural environment), evaluation tests and materials. We have a ton of toys, games, supplies, and other materials in our clinic but ask that you return them to their rightful home at the end of the day. When traveling to homes, our therapists usually bring their own supplies.

Who are our patients?
Most of our patients in clinic are under the age of 12. We see kiddos who reside in the following towns: North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Summerville, Ladson, West Ashley and some even come from as far away as Bonneau, Moncks Corner, Walterboro, and more. We see a diverse patient population. It is not uncommon for our OTs to be treating kids with the following diagnoses: Developmental Delay, Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, our PTs to be treating kids with: Torticollis, Gross Motor Delay (delayed walking, and general delay for older kids), and toe walking, and our STs to be treating kids with: Articulation and Phonological Disorders, expressive and receptive language delays/disorders, pragmatic language disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Feeding, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
